Sample Narrative Report Essay - Remembering the Neighbors Daughter on My Roof
Sample Narrative Report Essay - Remembering the Neighbor's Daughter on My RoofThe sample narrative report essay you read in this article is really quite interesting. This essay is about the many stories that people who have been around you for a long time can tell you about you. I'll talk to you about one of the stories that I've heard and it's one of the reasons I enjoy writing these sorts of essays. Some years ago my father lived with me and my sisters and we all went down to our own neighborhood's newspapers to get our daily paper. We would all get into bed by eight o'clock or nine and not move out until ten at night. It was much the same when I was growing up; we would all get in bed and not leave until ten at night. My mother worked so hard and never took a good night's sleep so we were all well rested by the time we went to bed and didn't move until almost two o'clock in the morning. While we were all still sleeping the neighbors' daughter fell from the roof of her house and brok e her neck. Her dad was an old man and could barely walk so when he got up in the morning to help her, he didn't know what had happened. He didn't call for an ambulance. He just went outside and picked her up.When she would begin to move and he'd hold her up the whole day he would see the twinkle in her eyes. It was the twinkle he'd seen all his life.He would find it amusing that she had fallen and it wasn't until after a time that he found out that she had broken her neck. He always remembered her twinkle. I remember hearing some other version of this story when I was about thirteen. The old man would be very much up in the air if he fell from his roof. He was quite tall and so it might not be possible for him to fall. But when he asked the doctor how high he could fly he was told quite openly that he could not fly.Nowadays if someone falls off their roof they are called to the hospital but back then the person just took them for granted that they were going to be alright because the neighbor's daughter was dead. That is not the kind of reaction you would expect if your roof were to give way on you were killed.
